John Agner, born in China Grove, NC in 1966, I have lived in China Grove, Salisbury, Lincolnton, Hickory, Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Durham, Winterville, Greenville, and I have been a resident of Goldsboro since 1996. I Graduated from Lincolnton High School in 1984, then from Lenoir-Rhyne College in 1988 with a Communications major. I attended Law School at North Carolina Central University School of Law graduating in 1998.
I opened my own law practice in 1998 here in Goldsboro concentrating on traffic matters and other misdemeanors in District Court. I am pleased to now be a part of Strickland Agner Pittman. I made this move so that I could have the support and friendship of other attorneys and to concentrate on practicing law, and not on managing an office. I handle cases in Wayne, Green, and Duplin Counties and have built my practice on strong repeat business and client referrals. After graduating from undergrad at Lenoir-Rhyne College I went to work for RPS (Roadway Packaging Systems) managing a shipping terminal, then went on to work for Carolina Freight doing pretty much the same thing. I was accepted into Law school just 3 months before Carolina Freight went bankrupt and closed its doors for good. While I gained lots of experience from my time in the transportation industry I have never looked back and certainly do not miss it. Practicing law has been the most rewarding field I could imagine and I am very grateful to have started my life over so to speak 8 years after college.
I am married to Dr. Solange Le of MedStat Centre here in Goldsboro and we have two beautiful daughters Morgan and Madeline Agner. I enjoy the outdoors and spend many hours hunting and fishing, as well as hiking and camping. I enjoy the law because of the people I get to meet and the stories they have to tell. I pride myself on giving my clients my very best, and helping them out of their troubles is extremely rewarding to me. Solving their often complex legal problems is very enjoyable to me and the reward of seeing their situations resolved in a positive way makes for a fulfilling career.
