KINSTON, North Carolina (November 2, 2017) – The law firm of Strickland, Agner & Associates is teaming up with the Down East Wood Ducks minor league baseball team to hold the second annual “Deck the Halls with Bats and Balls” sports equipment collection drive.
The program collects new and used sports equipment, of any kind, and donates it to local Boys & Girls Clubs during the holiday season.
“We are excited to partner with our friends from the Down East Wood Ducks and to collect and donate items that will help kids in our area to have the equipment they need to play the sports they love,” said attorney Billy Strickland II.
The charity drive kicked off in August and will continue through the coming weeks. Anyone can participate by dropping off their donated new or used sports equipment at the Wood Ducks team office at Grainger Stadium, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
All participants will be entered into a drawing for two season tickets for the Wood Ducks’ 2018 season. The team will announce the winner in mid-December.
